  1. It really depends on what the filling is made of  I suppose. If your pillows are filled with feathers or similar you would need to remove cover and wash separately, and then refill.                                        If your pillows have just ordinary fillings I would personally just replace pillows after a while, purely from a hygiene point of view!

  2. Was them on a 30. As the heat will cause them to shrink.

  3. Wash them as you would regular clothes, and when you put them in the dryer, throw in two tennis balls to help keep them fluffy.

  4. Your pillows should have a tag on them that will say exactly how to launder them.

If you've removed that, try washing them two at a time.  Put them on opposite sides of the washer.  Wash with cold water, on the gentle cycle.  Keep watch-they can shift and cause the washer to stop.  Just re-balance them, and continue with the cycle.

Dry in your dryer on medium or a little cooler heat. They take a long time to dry, however.

You don't say what kind they are, and some pillows don't wash well.

I fluff mine on low heat in the dryer a couple of times a month.  If your pillows are old, just replace them.  It's not that expensive to do.

Check out this link.  It has information on washing various types of pillows.
