How do I wire a jansen car audio player so I can toggle the dvd player on/off?

I purchased a cd/dvd player that has a wire you have to connect to the ebrake to be able to watch the dvd player.Im a truck driver and have it installed in a box i made so I can move it in and out of the truck.I heard from another driver that i could ground a toggle switch to it.can anyone tell me how this is done.It is a jansen touch screen cd/dvd player.

the brake wire is there for a purpose, don't ignore it and use other methods.

go to your nearest car audio dealer tell him your requirements and m sure he'll help you out.
