I am moving my tvs around and adding tvs. I was wondering if anyone knew how to wire/rewire a dish network standard receiver for two tvs? None of the tvs are hd. A link to website or some sort of visual guide would help out tremendously. And also how do i do the initial wiring for the receiver?

  1. You need a common splliter and cables or a wireless device.

The easiest is with cables and a coax splitter:

Hook a short coax cable to the coax out of the dish box and split the signal with a common coax spliiter.  Run one output from the splitter to the TV in the same room as Dish receiver.  Run the other cable (longer cable may have to fish cable into the attic) to the other room.  Bamm...TV in two room but you will be watching the same thing.

There are many wireless type devices but some will get interference from microwave signals.  There are also devices that will allow you to transfer signals thru phone jacks.

Another option is called slingbox that will allow you to send the signal through wireless network to anywhere in your house with a computer or computer type device.
