I'm four months pregnant and due Dec. 25th. However, my fiance just sent out our save the date cards for our wedding which is on Jan. 2nd, 2009, but since I just found out my due date, we've decided to change the date to February 3rd, 2009, for obviosos reasons.

How do we word the new Save The Date cards?

Thanks in advance!

  1. I do like Pax's idea, it's very cute :)

However, if it were me, I'd probably say something like... well, pretty much the same thing you said on your first ones, but just indicated at the top of the card that this is an UPDATE or a NEW date...

And also maybe highlight the new date somehow... either in bold lettering or underlining it, in capital letters, etc... make it stand out somehow...

    Good luck! :)

  2. Pax says it all

  3. You can say something like:

Weddings are a special time to share our joys and love

so too is the blessing of the arrival of a child.

As we must change diapers, we must also change the

date of our union.  Please save February 3, 2009 so that

you can share our wedding and meet our new baby (boy/girl).

  4. How about "We've Changed the Date" cards?

  5. Thats an awesome answer Pax!! Go with that!!

  6. Brian Anthony has requested a change of date!  He just insisted on being at the wedding!

    Jane Joe

    and

    John Smith

    Will be married on

    January 2nd, 2009

(This time wpromisese it won't change!)
