How do I work the Nintendo Gamecube Wavebird?

i bought it used from gamestop and its not working. i have channel one with channel one but its not working. help please

try pairing them with the other numbers,

make sure there's nothing in the way that would mess up your signal,

or maybe the controller's just busted

and there might be some stupid things you could've forgot, like putting batteries in, turning on the controller, or plugging the receiver all the way in
