How do I work this sprayer?

I have a 3 gallon sprayer that you can use for many things. I cannot get the sprayer to work. There is an air pump on top, and what I think is an air valve that I can't seem to budge. I did pump air into it and the handle sprayer is not working. What am I doing wrong?

Take the tip of the wand off and see if you can blow back into the sprayer.If not then the hose is stoped up(clean it out and put the tip back on)

It sounds silly but there is a lock under the handle that should be unlocked. If the handle pulls all the way in than it may be in the tip. Remove tip  and try if you cant find a locking devise
