My son and I have moved in with my boyfriend as of this month. To enroll my son into the new school, I need a letter from him basically stating that we live there in that school district. Any examples would be greatly appreciated.

  1. also, any bills that come to *you* at the new address should be accompanied with the letter so the school knows it's your primary residence. just make a photocopy of the bill but put a blank piece of paper over the "bill" portion to keep it private. keep the utility logo and address and how it is addressed to you in view.

  2. You should have your boyfriend fax or send over any documents showing that he owns/lives in the district. For example, I believe any type of Cable, Telephone, Internet, Electric, Gas, Water bill will do. Perhaps you can accompany that will a signed statement about your relationship with him. Additionally, he could go to the principal and claim that your son is his son and he lives in the district. You can't do this alone, your bf needs to get involved.
