How do I write an essay for a scholarship? I am interested in the format. Such as name, title, and body?

It is need based. I was too late for the merit based ones.

What I am looking for is and example of the format:

title

by

intro

body

conclusion

name?

  1. Name? As in your name? Just write your first and last name at the top of every page, as well as the page number.

There's no need to title it. Chances are the scholarship is only asking for a 250-500 word essay so there's no need to title it.

Write the body like you would write a well-constructed sentence for class. But try to avoid the stupid 5-paragraph essay if you can and don't do the "Tell them what you're going to tell them, tell them, tell them what you told them" thing either. It's not very collegiate.

  2. It depends on the scholarship...is it merit based?  Whats the subject?
