Thanks for the input on how to get a word document etc into the post. Works great as a txt document but I have some documents that have been scanned and cannot be turned into a text doc. Can I post them in the text part of the post of do I need to post them as pictures???

Thanks again for all the great help.

  1. My suggestion to you would be to use the Files section of your group and post a message in the group about where it is located.

  2. Try doing this first.

Sign in to your group and click on Files.

On upper right side, click on Create File.

Enter the name of file and description of it in the appropriate blank spaces.

Click Browse and your computer, locate the scanned document and double click on the document title.

That will take you back to where you were creating the file.

Under the "Auto-send to members" area, do NOT select any of the options.

When finished, click "Upload File" located on lower right side of page.

You can now go to your Files area and find your newly created file by looking for that specific one.  Click on it to pull it up and view it.  It can be edited by you at any time.

You can post a regular message to the group to let them know about this new file and tell them the file name to look for.

Also on home page right above the messages and you will see "1 New File".  Any member can click on that and it will take them to the Files area.
