  1. I watched a professional set up my table.  He explained that the tables are always level, it's the floor that has variation causing the need to adjust.  From what I observed, small wooden wedges are placed between the slate and where it sits at various places underneath the table until it is level.  The installer just tapped the wedge in deeper as needed until the slate was level with the floor.

  2. Use a level!4 footer is ideal!

  3. hire a carpenter, he will do it for you.

  5. Use a carpenters level or some other form of bubble level. Most pool tables have adjutments under the feet that you turn in or out to raise or lower the feet.

  6. You need to level the table from end to end and side to side at the same time. You can do this with a cross shaped bubble level set in the center of the table. Four small levels in the center of the table will also work, 2 going end to end and 2 giong side to side. Make your adjustments until all of the levels read true. If you do this and it still doesn't seem level call a pro. It could be a slate or cloth problem. Also make sure you are setting up on a good solid floor. A floor that gives or moves at all can cause a lot of problems.

  7. Higher a house mover and he should be able to get the table level for you!!!!!!!.............just check with some local distributors and they should get you better tips on how to do it..........(wasn"t serious about the "house movers"....you know that right??)

  8. we went to a home improvement store, went to the kitchen counter department, and took a bunch of those samples for countertops (very thin, use as a shim).  Place a level on the table and put those samples underneath in the center until it levels.  (should be a brace or place where the center of the table comes together that you can place these to raise it).
