  1. its possible that a player is released then signs as a free agent with another team.

  2. it is very complicated, you have to waive the player then you have to claim him so nobody takes him.

  3. The unrestricted trade deadline was July 31. After July 31, players can be traded in one of two ways:

Player is put on waivers for 48 hours, subject to be claimed by any of the 29 remaining teams - claims processed in inverse standing order.

No one claims him? His team is free to deal him to any other team.

Player is claimed? Team lowest in standing gets priority - that team has 48 hours to work out a trade. if the do? Trade goes through. If they don't ...original team has two choices ...let the player go to the team that claimed him for nothing, or keep him.

  4. they can because they were negotiating a deal with him before so it can contiinue due to what the contract says or because someones contract was ending so they can get a new player to fill their roster completely

  5. Waivers, Im too lazy to explain

So Somebody will do it for me
