  1. Absolutely the good ones always do...it is 26.2 miles of mental challenge that is a great exercise in endurance..speed and strength so yes we do prepare our minds, bodies and our spirits.....


  2. I often think about my form in running, challenge my brain with math or read up some riddles and then try to figure them out when I am running.  It helps me to keep my mind busy and not to worry about the distance I am running.

    Music sometimes helps too.  I think about what I am going to eat or a nice cup of Mocha Latte....and of course the finish line.

  3. Mentally? Just run. Sometimes I think about nothing, other times I'm just caught up in the run. My mind usually sets itself when the gun goes off though...
