I mean given McCain's age and deteriorating health the VP could well be needed either temporarily or permanently to step into the President's shoes.
And since Palin has been a Governor for 2 years - less than Obama has been in the Senate, and prior to that was mayor of a small town - doesn't this make thier criticism of Obama seem misplaced.
Palin has ZERO foreign affairs experience (Obama by contrast chairs the European Affairs Sub committee of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee), and her "executive" experience is limited to just learning the ropes of the US's smallest state.
If you guys really thought there was any basis in the experience argument, why did McCain trash the argument with this VP choice?
