How do Republicans who question Obama's experience feel about Palin?

I mean given McCain's age and deteriorating health the VP could well be needed either temporarily or permanently to step into the President's shoes.

And since Palin has been a Governor for 2 years - less than Obama has been in the Senate, and prior to that was mayor of a small town - doesn't this make thier criticism of Obama seem misplaced.

Palin has ZERO foreign affairs experience (Obama by contrast chairs the European Affairs Sub committee of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee), and her "executive" experience is limited to just learning the ropes of the US's smallest state.

If you guys really thought there was any basis in the experience argument, why did McCain trash the argument with this VP choice?

Palin has executive experience that requires making decisions and taking responsibility for them Obama is a professional voter of 1 out of 100, he a undistinguished senator of many undistinguished senators. Palin also has core values, Obama has none. Palin was a great choice and I applaud McCain for thinking outside the box and knowing women can make great leaders unlike the DNC and Obama.

Sarah Palin does not have a lot of experience as an executive.  However neither Obama or Biden has any experience.  Chairing a sub committee is not the same as running a government.  They are night and day different.  The criticism that Obama has no leadership experience is and remains a valid one.  

Given the mess that is Washington and the unbelievable corruption in that city I don't consider any experience there as worthy.  I'd rather take the dog catcher from Wasilla over 99% of the people in Congress.

Americans are fed up with the state of things in Washington.  Obama tapped into that and then what is his first executive decision?  Make the ultimate insider his VP.  

I like Palin, she's smart and tough, and more to the point. She reminds me of the girls I grew up with.  In other words one of the Americans.  To me Biden and Obama are the foreigners.  Without her, McCain wouldn't get my vote.

Obama supporters cant trash Palin's lack of experience when all along they have been saying having little experience doesn't matter.

Edit: I understand that, and I get your point, but personally I have never supported McCain because of Obama's lack of experience, but rather for his socialist views on how to run this country.

McCain has successfully switched the entire talk to experience.  Palin has executive experience and more years as an elected official than Obama.  

Obama chairs the European Affairs Sub committee of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, on which he has held NO hearings, or presided over any meetings.

Difference, Palin is on the under-card for the Republicans, Obama is at the top of the card.

Palin has said she took the surplus from the state oil revenue and is building a 40 billion dollar natural gas pipeline to help with America's energy independence.

Obama has said he will invest 150 billion in an as yet undiscovered source of mystery energy that will save the planet.

HUGE HUGE difference in the 2.  

As far as Biden goes, McCain should just make ads with all his comments about Obama's lack of experience.

he's a Chairman on a sub committee, because he can't be trusted to have any leadership due to his lack of experience. so he's a leader of very few people, while even as a Mayor of a town of only 5,000 Palin had more responsibility than Obama has ever had.

So if your a open minded Democrat as most of you claim to be you should be able to see how you and the rest of your Democrat buddies are wrong on her versus Obama in the experience.

Well executive experience for experience she has more than all others on this election.  Especially that of the 174 day senator.  However again, Mc cain is not in failing health, are you libs starting that again because you have nothing?

Then, she borders 2 countries, Canada and Russia.. umm Ill borders what????  And in Ill he was a community leader, leading black citizens.  That's it..

Then, it is Obama who needs to put his resume up against McCain's.  Not hers.  They are not running for the same position. When you go to the polls on Nov 4 it will be McCain against Obama.  Not Palin against Obama.

Obama has actually been present for votes in the Senate for 13 months, the rest of his Senate term has been spent campaigning.  Obama "chairs" the Senate Foreign Relations Committee" but has accomplished  zero  while there.  He has been absent from his post and on the campaign trail so has not gained any experience from this post.  He has stated that he is qualified in foreign affairs because he has lived abroad (yes, in his early childhood years)

She took the cash she made from her decisions and sent $1,200 to the citizens of Alaska to help with the high costs of living.

During Obama's time in the senate he introduced and passed 1 bill- and it was about the recognition of Congo. Certainly he put his name on many bills as a cosponsor but that can be done with a phone call. What has Obama done as chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee European Affairs Subcommittee? Preside over hearings for the confirmations of European ambassadors? He certainly hasn't had any meetings pertaining to NATO members- which would what would be expected of someone expounding it as a selling point. Palin wasn't just learning the ropes- she was a "woman in the arena" so to speak. She passed a budget with a surplus and cleaned out her own party in the state government. Being a governor is an everyday job- Obama showed up to work 140 days. Palin has passed more legislation and gotten more done in her state in the past 10 days than Obama has done during his entire time in the senate which by the way was abbreviated by his nearly 2 year run for the presidency. Alaska has a population of 623,932 you may ask why bring up such a point- Delaware has a population of 783,600. Biden represents a tiny state as well. Represents mind you- he is a legislator.

Because the positions that Palin has held, are executive seats, where ultimately she is the one responsible for that little town, and now the Gov of her state.  Lets see here, Obama was only a lawyer who did nothing but lecture, and sat on some left winged board, with terrorist William C. Ayres.  Obama has never been on a city council, mayor, or Governor.......Palin has more executive experience than, Obama, biden, and McCain.  Obama has been in the senate for 3  years, and 2 of which he has spent running for president.  Obama has not traveled over seas to meet with govt. officials until this year....and this give him foreign affairs experience....nah, don't think so.

Get over it, because the truth is, when these people get into that voting booth by themselves, chances are all blacks will vote will vote for the arab-black man, and 80% of whites will vote for McCain......because you still have some old school Dem's in Washington who will never vote for a black man, and you can believe that Hillary does not want her supporters to vote for him, because she wants to run again in 4 years, and the only way that she has a chance at that is for McCain to get elected.

You are comparing apples and oranges.  Palin is running for VP and has executive experience.  History has shown that Gov.'s make better Pres's than do Senators because of this experience.  Senators do not have the executive experience especially when they only show up for  votes but do not make decisions and only vote present.
