have planted 10 in a row in zone 6 and this is their second year, have been doing fine, but now the neighbor cut down a bradford pear tree which offered them partial shade, now they are standing in full sun.

anyone know how well they tolerate full sun in very hot weather?

any advice besides watering them well?

Thanks for your answers!

  1. Tsuga Canadensis are from North America and Canada. In Canada they are subject to extremes of heat in summer and extremes of cold in winter so the UK temperatures are nothing to worry about for this tree.  However, when you mention zones then that tells me that this is from America

{ zones don't apply in the UK } and if so then the answer applies even more.

    good luck with your Tsugas
