  1. Drink loads of Irn Bru & have a fry up! Not that I actually get them mind you...I don't drink enough alcohol to warrant hangovers!


  2. The best remedy I have ever used was ginseng extract. Take about 1/4 of a 1 oz  little bottle in tea or water.

  3. Have at least a pint of water when you get in from your nite out and you wont be hungover my ex used to swear by it

  4. Food - full breakfast normally. Yum! And lots of fresh orange juice.

  8. Simple, I don't ingest alcohol. It can be good for you in moderation (i.e. A glass of red wine) But it sure is hard to stop at one. So I just avoid it all together.

  10. Well, on the night in question, when i get home after a big session, i always drink a pint of water.

    Then in the morning i have a banana for breakfast, as potassium is good for a hangover, and another pint of water.

    Then i take 2 nurofen, and i feel better by lunch time.

    The most important part is drinking the pint of water before you go to bed when you get home, it works wonders!

  11. The only way to deal with a hangover is time or stop drinking.

  13. Three quick steps that always work with me:

    1) Cook a fry up / Go to a greasy spoon, lots of grease is good for a hangover!

    2) Lots of cups of tea... don't ask me why, but tea gets rid of hangovers really well!

    3) Take 2 paracetamol (the max you are allowed in one 4 hour period).

    After a couple of hours to let your breakfast digest, and have a few more cups of tea, you will be feeling right as rain!

  18. Hi I used to just try and eat if i could face it, I use to have really bad heartburn so use to have loads of rennies, then Id be ok by tea time.

    Best way to deal with it, is to not drink too much.

  21. By drinking lots of water; the rough feeling is generally to do with dehydration, more than anything.  After a pint of cold water I always feel better.

  28. I eat dill pickles and  drink their juice. Not only is this a refreshing hangover rush it also replenishes the lost salts in your body.  Works for a sort of light hangover there ain't no getting over a 12 pack besides painkiller.

  29. Alchohol dehydrates you. The best way to get rid of a hangover is drink a pint of water before you go to bed. The problem with this is you'll awaken in the night to pee.

    Simply drink loads of water when you wake up. Eat toast too or something stodgy to soak up any excess booze in your belly. Hope this helps.
