As:

A) The Big Rip

B) The Big Crunch

C) The Big Freeze [Heat Death]

D) The Big Bounce

E) NO End EVER (literally Eternal with NO Cyclic nature)

F) NO End EVER (literally Eternal WITH Cyclic nature)

G) Multiverse Fate (think of it as the Law of Conservation of Parallel Universes, where one is transformed/absorbed into another without ever really ending)

H) The End [of a False Vacuum Universe] coming as The Vacuum Metastability Event

I) Many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics

J) Cosmic Dark Energy Equation of State Uncertainty

K) This is a CREATED Universe, so it’s basically up to God

(L) It's up to my Esoteric Cosmology

(M) Dyson's Eternal Intelligence

N) The Universe will end [or not] in a Matrix-like Hollywood style Science Fiction [or The Final Anthropic Principal]

(O) Teilhard's Omega Point (i.e. Law of Complexity/Consciousness)

(P) I have my own Theory (Please elaborate)

Thank you for your comments.

  2. I haven't worked out all the details but I'm pretty sure it will start in Chicago.

    More later :-)

Overwhelming theoretical evidence for the Higgs and yet no Higgs. That should have been the warning and yet we continue to move forward...Perhaps it wouldn’t have made much difference but before the Large Hadron Collider was finally turned somebody should have asked Pier Oddone if Lyn had personally checked on the repositioning of the magnets.

There wasn’t much time between the first effects were known and the end. Just enough time to jot down a few calculations that didn’t seem to make much sense. Could it be that it wasn’t the nonzero value that allowed the Higgs mechanism to work! Impossible!

A few more calculations seemed to highlight the absurdity, for the interpretation implied something miraculous. Could they have actually witnessed the formation of a condensate without a vanishing charge!

More seasoned minds dismissed the implication.  Such a condensate could not be a Lorentz scalar!

It might be important to note the last words of mankind: “Non-scalar condensates simply do not describe our universe”.

It could be added now, “Neither does relativity”.

  3. It won't ever end.  It will just morph to be very different someday because "nothing" cannot exist.

  4. EVER LASTING.

Why waste all that effort on just a small thing when it can be BIG.

It seem to me that we are very immature to think we are some how the beginning and the end of any thing.

  5. (G) or maybe we'll get sucked into a black hole and find out what all the hoo ha is about or maybe this is a dream.  The eternal freaks me out my brain can't get a grasp on it.  Actually the universe is like a lotus flower constantly blooming; the universe is expanding but to where?  Think small.

  6. With the global warming going on now? And our earth has 2/3 amount of waters covering it? I'd say big heat that will melt the southern n northern pole. We'll drown baby, oh yeah we will.

  7. (P)

Sometime in December of 2012 everything gets sucked into oblivion - sort of like a black hole that crunches everything into a tiny spec and spits it somewhere and sometime unknown.

  8. P)  I simply can't envision the end of something I have not seen all of.

  9. I have no idea, there is some empirical evidence (Stuff we can actually observe) for B or C.  But...any of the above is my answer, really hard to answer.

  10. It seems to me that every event had one before it, so it seems to me that the start of the universe was impossible. There had to be something there before for there to be something there now.  Just like there cannot really be a start, nor can there be an end. The "big rip" theory exists soley on the assumption of an ever-expanding universe, a flawed assumption. They base the theory on a cloth that as it is being pulled apart, it rips. They fail to include the part where a cloth rebounds and therefore contracts in the cyclical nature. This is my belief.. It is interesting to hear all these theories..

  11. I don't. Odds are- it's just going to "morph" into some OTHER Manifistation & That will be THAT. Regardless; I don't plan to be around to see it -Anyway. (And I have Plenty of "Morphing Manifistations" of my OWN to deal with- NOW!!!). :)

  12. A Big blue wall that nutrinos bounce off of and go back the way they came causing time to reverse itself and start the process all over again at the beginning......

  13. P

Dark Matter, Evaporates into Dark Clouds, which have enormous amounts of gravity and pulls all Matter toward it, causing planets and stars to colide with one another. Soon creating a vortex of extreme porportions that is so great it disapears.

  14. I believe in something that would resemble F.

The universe is kinda like bubble gum (for a fast metaphor).  It is slowly expanding and eventually will collapse back on itself and begin the cycle again.  It will continue for eternity, in one form or another.

There is no magical creator god...

  15. It will not totally end, but disbursed into another form.

  16. I can't picture an end.

  17. I think God is Everything which includes nothing, or else Everything couldn't be everything. From out of the nothing God gets an urge to know Himself and from the smallest finite point of nothing, nothingness oozes out relative to God's own consciousness and unconsciousness. God may get the urge to know Himself or may never get the urge to know, it depends on you who are God and the center of creation and the creator.

The initial nothingness is called the Gross sphere which creates millions of universes within its sphere. Since the entire creation is based on nothing and only exist as an illusion to God who is trapped in evolving His consciousness, it will become realized as the nothingness when God realizes Himself.

Nothingness also blinks out periodically over eons of time in cycles, the same way all life is based on a constant on and off cycle, such as the rays of the sun or electricity or sleeping and being awake, dying and reincarnating. Then as soon as the nothingness of creation ends it reemerges in the next moment of eternity.
