  4. Could be pronounced either way.  I don't have a problem.  However, if you subscribe to the proper pronunciation according to your friend and mine, Noah Webster, you will say:  "n-velope"

  6. On-velope. This is obviously the correct pronounciation. This is the type of problem that you just need to decide one way or the other, because you really can't go through life saying "hey, can you put the card in that folded, sealable piece of paper which holds things?" when you could just say "put the card in the ON-velope."

  7. AHN-ve-lope if you are referring to the paper package that cards or letters are shipped in.

    en-VEL-op if you are referring to the verb which means "to surround"
