By calmly stating my point and not arguing. People who love to fight will go on and on, if you state your case and do not feed the fight, it bugs them 10x more.

Quietly, without rasing my voice, but knowing my facts and not bullsh*tting and by knowing what the other person is trying to achieve by arguing in the first place (make me look small, stupid, unattractive, inferior) especially if they argue with you in public.

Why does anyone have to win?  Why not respect the fact that individuals have different views on issues?  Why not try to walk away with the understanding that you can agree to disagree?  That is what I do.  Talk through tough situations and always respect the other person.  If you are dealing with someone completely unreasonable, don't even engage them in conversation... you won't "win" or reach any point of validation  with that type of person.

well its depends what you are arguing about...

lets saying its something stupid, just say the other person is right, it will bother them even more becuase when they know they are right, they want to keep arguing with you.

so just say "oh yeah, you are right" and then walk away.

when people do that to me, it really gets on my nerves, idk why though. haha!

I don't think I can.  If I can get it down to being a discussion, then I can win it with logic.  But if it is an emotional Argument, there is no winning.

winning an argument is not a reality. you can persuade someone to your view, but truly to win... you can't. most of the time both sides don't get their view point across in an argument. they just walk away thinking their right.

the way to win is not get in an argument, but rather have a conversation where you can full express you view and hear the other's view fully then progress to a measure of understanding.
