How do You Clear Redness from the White part (schlera) of the eye?

I busted a blood vessel in my eye and blood leaked all into the white part of my eye. I"ve been to the Doctor already for normal check ups and no red flags so just wanted to know opinion on how to clear redness fastest way possible

  1. Get a ziplock baggy. Add 5-6 cubes of ice. Add water, not to fill! instead, push the spare air out and seal tightly, so that the water has room to move around.

    Put a napkin between your eyelids and the baggy, and put the baggy on your eyelids for 10 minutes or until the ice melts.


  2. Eye drops would most likely work

  3. Don't do anything. The blood will have to absorb back into your eye naturally. You can use moisturizing drops, such as ReFresh or Soothe, but don't use any Visine products.
