  1. It is what keeps 1st class postage costs low. I like it and it is good for the U.S.P.S.

  2. I can't stand it!  First off, I'm not interested in any of the c**p that's usually advertised.  I dump it straight into the recycling bin.  Second it's a waste of trees!!  Ughhhh!!

  3. Sometimes I find the ads to be useful and they form an introduction to companies I might never have known.  That can be really helpful, sometimes.  Other times, it is just a one time savings.

  4. ITS A WASTE OF PAPER

  5. I throw most of it away but do occasionally find some things I am interested in. I say keep it coming.

  6. It is an incredible waste of paper and horrible for the environment. I recycle the paper, but most people don't. Its very frustrating.

  7. Admail disgusts me -- and I'm speaking as a former deliverer. It's just spam on paper. Admail always adds costs that the public eventually pays for.

The greatest cost, of course, is environmental -- millions and millions of pointlessly chain-sawed trees. Meanwhile, as supplies drop, the pulp mills charge more. One result is that most people in developing countries now can't afford newspapers.

Think about it: is admail very different than emailed spam? Even our conservative governments slam companies like Telus for trying to charge people for incoming spam. So why have we let paper spammers off the hook?

  8. People have the right to send me information on their products.  I have the right to toss the information in the garbage.

    No big deal.
