Goldfish don't get pregnant they are egg layers.  They have to be mature ( 3 to 4 yrs old) before they can be sexed and even then it is difficult for the average person.

Goldfish are almost impossible to tell what their gender is until they're at least 3 to 4 years old. Also, Goldfish aren't livebears, which means they give birth to live young, so they don't get pregnant. They lay eggs.

i had like a dozen goldfish for several years, they never made babies, and all they did was eat and got fat, and rite now all i hav left is 3 really large goldfish, and they were once so small. Why do i have 3 left? Cause the one that got big ate the smaller ones.
