How do add a background to your photo like the word dope?

like i want to add the word dope to my background

The easiest way would be to open the picture in MS Paint and add text to the picture that way. You can change size, font, color ect. Just play around with it.

create the background, then copy and paste image overtop, if you only want text on a picture use any program like paint to add text,

if it is more complex and you have a program like photoshop, you can open images, create new layers and move text layer behind image layer, erase areas on top layer for text to appear,
