How do apply as a political asylum if I'm not in the USA?

I am an Iraqi student,currently I live in the UK, I have studied MSc in Energy and Environmen, but after finishing my MSc it should go back to my doungerous country (IRAQ).

Throughtout my study I did search paper on Iranian Nuclear power plants and I found it unfriendly with environment with strong evidence.

After a period of time I received a threatening message from an unknown say "is this research paper be published your family members exposed to danger and warned of virginity"

Now, I face a difficult psychologically situation, because I could not apply as a political asylum in Britain because I came to study. So, it is very difficult for Iraqi students to request asylum in Britain.

Go to a Embassy or consulate in England.  They will help you .  TO warn you, US is slow to accept political refugees from Iraq, despite promises that they would.    The people who gets the refugee status first are those who actually help with the war and their life is threatened.   They might not see the threats that seriously compared to the threats of thsoe who are actually in Iraq.   If you have actual knowledge of Iranian Nuclear power program,they might  be far more sympathetic, but I don't think an Environmental impact report is something  they are too concern of.
