I may not be 100% correct on all the countries from which those weapons are imported, but the partial answer to your question is that the 'robbers' get their ammunition directly/indirectly from the police force down there-with the help and influence of many of the corrupt politicians that make up more than 70% of the total political body in the country. For the armed robbers to be able to carry out a robbery with such magnitude as to involve heavy weapons like that, they would more than likely be prompted/moved/hired to do so by at least one of their very powerful (ill-willed) politicians for whom their police/law enforcement force work for anyways. China and Russia wouldn't be innocent of exporting most of the weapons used in Nigeria though...I hope my answer sheds a light on your question a bit.
