How do birds get worms out of the ground

  1. usually after it rains you see birds out hunting/looking for worms.the birds fly around and land in lawns. they hop around looking for a worm.if they spot a worm they pick it up in there beaks and carry it to there nest and eat it.sometimes they pek at worms and dig for them.

    this is how birds get worms


  2. they tap along the ground with their feet which to the worms sounds like rain so they come up from the soil and the  the birds get them...

  3. Well the birds dig in the ground on a wet day and get worms. I have seen it myself. Or they can get them without digging if they are ones above ground.
