How do blu-ray special features differ from regular dvd speail features?

dont have blue-ray, but i hear on commericals feautures exlusive to blu-ray dvds. is there anything that makes these features special or different from features on a regualr dvd.

Generally different look and feel. Random access menu, picture in picture, secondary audio and on-line connection allow updates, access to extras, etc ... but they vary with the movie. Some have lot's some have few. Most extras are similar to DVD (deleted scenes, mini-documentaries, trailers, etc) but they are sometimes in high definition on Blu-ray and can be "fancier". Some fancy on-line features like chat are being introduced .. but I'm not sure the point.

Frankly, most people ignore them, though they can be fun. On line games are usually lame although some like them.
