  2. Boogers are things that clot your nose from infection because they are made of dried snot...they act as a defense

Boogers make it hard to use language, especially if you inhale and snort boogers then choke.

There does not appear to be any current accent on boogers in current literature, and I might suggest that you go blow your nose somewhere else.

  3. well seen as they are individuals that will depend on the person themselfs

Sorry i know that isnt much help but its true

the 2:1 thing is the odds though. ie 5-1 would mean for every £1 you put on a bet you get £5 back if you won.

  4. Bookies, or bookmakers, offer odds as counterparties to bets.  For example, they might offer odds of 100-1 against a particular horse winning a particular race, if you want to bet that the horse will win and you put down £1, then if the horse wins you get your £1 back plus £100 for winning the bet, if it doesn't win the bookie just keeps your £1.  Compound bets are offered too, for example a "double" on two horses is a bet that both horses will win their respective (different) races, so if both horses were at 100-1 then the odds for the double would be 10,000-1.  Similar "accumulator" bets can be placed for any number of events.
