How do bring rechargable AA batteries on a domestic flight?

I want to bring batteries for my digital camera, but I don't know how to package them. They're rechargable.

I know you're supposed to tape them, but how do you keep them apart?

Also, should I bring all of my electronics in my carry on?

There is no special way you need to pack them.  You can carry the camera with the batteries with you on the plane.
