  1.  how do cats right before they die

  2. My cat is 19, almost 20. He seemed really energetic until this summer (2010) when he seemed to lose a lot of weight, and right now he is not acting like himself. He lies around - all day in the same spot. He seems to be gaining the weight back. He used to lay with me at night but runs when I put him in the room now. He is acting really weird. I thought maybe he had a stroke or something. He just doesn't do anything anymore. I thought it was because of the kittens we brought into the house - but he seems to have 0 energy. He is fussy, winey, and I found him shaking a little yesterday, today he is sneezing a lot (Monday, September 6, 2010). He stands up and you find him in the windows, but it seems like the end is probably near (I give him 6 months). Mar221985 - please write me. PS - the cats don't bug him/haven't hurt him.

I put him outside and treat him like I used too - but he just doesn't seem to have the energy. I think he may have had a stroke or something - and may be dying.

  3. It just goes to a place he feels safe and lies there for a couple of days until it dies. It'll eat drink etc. but wont do much, just lay there.
