How do cats associate with humans

It depends on the cat. If you've owned it for a while, the cat will not run away but you will notice it's more affectionate when you return

Cats share some basic traits but they are also endowed with their own personality.  When miss kitty was young and I left she would sit in the window and wait for me to return..then run to the door to welcome me..but later when she was confident I would come back she ignored by coming and going.  Dogs often have seperation anxity when seperated from their family but cats rarely do.

They will be a bit lonly but its okay. its not like dogs, they dont tare stuff up or p**p on your rug. I thionk they will probably jump on counters nad claw up your couch, you know indulge in what they cant normally do. but emotionally they will be just fine.

They don't care- cats are independant snobs, they hate humans... At least my grandmas cats do

Although this may depend on the cat, in my experience, cats do miss their humans. I just went away for a night to attend a wedding, the first time I have been away from my kitty for more than a few hours. I could hear him crying at the door as I entered from the garage and he was very affectionate.

They are skiddish(if moved with other humans).  There is a chance( if on its own in the wild, alone) it may go ferrel, meaning it will return to its wild instincts. But that chance is slim.
