How do change my baby name

me and my baby daddy separated and i met somebody new dat i thought was responsible and caring he ending up kicking me to the crub so now i'm stuck wit my baby having his last name and no money to change it.

Go to or call your local Social Security office and change it.

When changing a child's name the courts need the consent of the mother and the father.  It should be under $200 to change the name.  Your are just going to have to save up.  Until the name is changed you might want to have your baby go by your last name.  If anyone asks just say that the baby's name is in the process of being changed.

You need money to file the paperwork with the court. When you get some extra cash head down to the courthouse, and give the baby your last name. My husband, and I are also in the process of changing our son's middle name because we let someone else choose, and we don't like it! lol Good Luck

Go fill for child support and And ask the court to have a DNA test done on the really father and they will but his name as the father and you be able to change the name

The laws vary a little from state to state but you have to go to court and file for a legal name change. Do a google search for "name change" and your state's name. It's not expensive to change it, generally.
