when they add things like this to their answers:-

"I must have you confused with some OTHER pr*ck that has multiple accounts. There's SO many of you.

All that Amazing Randi stuff (and that other link) is blah blah anyway...it's old, silly stuff from an old, silly man.. those are the same types of people who stagger data for drug companies and compete for grants with half formed theorems and slanted data....

They all like to tag on Sun Sign astrology because they can't wrap their brains around the concepts of a full natal chart, and are too lazy to learn. They prefer to lob tomatoes from the outside ranks."

End of quote.

I answered a question on horoscopes in a perfectly reasonable manner expressing my point of view to which I'm entitled to do.

Although I don't believe in astrology, I'm open minded enough to listen to any good arguments, which to date I've never had.

One question I've always asked is "How can the position of the stars and planets at the moment you were born affect things like your love life etc.?"

I often used James Randi's link about his $1,000,000 challenge which is quite geuine I can assure you, and that is sort of answer I get.

So the other question I ask is "Why don't any astrologers take it? you don't have to keep the money if it pricks your conscience, give it to children in need"

  1. Unfortunately, giving incorrect answers isn't grounds to report someone, but giving rude or insulting answers is, and you may want to consider reporting them when you see them.

    I agree, Randi is Amazing.

    Better luck in the future.

  2. I've looked through the Top Contributors in Horoscopes to find your quote Ron, and having found it I must agree with you that her answer was extremely childish.

While I think everyone is entitled to their own belief, you put forward a compelling case for a common sense approach, I've seen several of your James Randi links and I'm amazed that there is such a belief in

this Neanderthal thinking, it makes no sense at all.

As to J.R's $1,000,000 challenge, I saw a Horizon program a long time ago where homeopathists failed in their challenge, so he IS quite genuine, and agree that so called astrologists should 'put up, or shut up'.
