How do coin pusher games work?

Well they work of course by pushing coins forward on a series of platforms until some fall down.

The bit that goes back and forth can be powered by a wiper motor if that helps? Other than that you just needs some shoots and a perspex screen

I think you are talking about the games with the bulldovers or whatever tha push the coins?

If so the object of the game is to have your coin roll and land face down behind the other coins as the pushing machine is back so that this new coin eing pushed will force the coins near the edge off. However the endge must be slanted so the coins canoverlap each other and therefore not push the other coins over the edge but instead just push under them.
