Question:

How do colleges take AP grades into consideration?

I got 3's on my exams and the college I want to go to will accept them for credit. If I had gotten a 4 or a 5 on the exams, would I have been able to get out of more courses then just what I got out of with a 3, or does that not really matter?

  1. i dont think it matters, as long as you take and passs the AP test (3-5) then it counts as a college credit..

  2. Different schools will accept different grades on the AP tests.

For example, my school will take a 3 in AP calculus, but you must have a 4 in AP english to get credit.

As long as you made the passing grade, it won't make much difference between a 4 or a 5 at most schools.
