How do connect my pc speakers [5.1] with my philips dvd player?

i have a 5.1 speaker connected to my pc but i want to connect it to my dvd player [philips DVP 5150].

i can't do so because there is no socket for pc speaker but there is socket for T.V. speaker.

Suggest some device to connect my Pc speaker [5.1][i have creative speakers]

  1. You need a 3.5mm Stereo to RCA (A/V Cable) Adapter. Radio Shack has them for like $10.


  2. If I understand you right, you have what are actually computer speakers, and you want to connect your DVD player directly to your computer speakers. So the problem then is that your computer speakers have a mini stereo plug, but your DVD player only has RCA outputs. Does that sound correct?

    If it is, then what you actually need is a 3.5mm stereo female mini jack to 2 rca male y adapter. This cable can be found on Ebay for like $5 with shipping. Check the link below. Radio Shack may carry this cable, but it's fairly unique so there is a good chance they do not. If they do, it's probably about $10.
