How do conservatives reconcile this political hypocrisy?

Question

A lot of the YA Cons claim that liberals celebrate when US Soldiers die. But in fact, by using the death of a US Soldier to promote conservative ideology, they are the ones celebrating the death of a valiant American hero.

Every time I see this, it sickens me to my core. To think that anyone would use a soldiers death for political gain is simply an example of the most vile of human beings.

How do conservatives, the ones who think that way, actually reconcile their political belief with the idea that they are patriotic, when they glorify the death of an American on a battle field in this manner?

I call on every liberal to stand up to this type of cowardly hypocrisy, by pointing out their error and not replying in any other way. Until our American Soldiers are home, and out of harms way, we cannot engage in other debate, concerning the war, with these hypocrites.

In short I agree with you.  However, it is also hypocritical to say you support the troops without supporting the mission.  You are saying that as long as they don't die, the USA can lose.  The military doesn't like losing, and the fallout of a military loss far exceeds any saved lives.

You also must remember that a soldiers death has been glorified for centuries before before the USA ever existed, as it is the result of nationalistic pride.  While some people may accept the position of being a global citizen, some people never will.  You now have no way of reconciling two points of view, as some people will always be country first, global second.

Edit-ummm...you pointed out one hypocrisy, I pointed out another.  Hypocrisy is hypocrisy, true?

When I started out telling you that in short, I agree, that means there is no reconcillitation, rather acceptance.

My liberal friends made jokes about 9/11 and when they were falling from the towers. Needless to say I made new friends.

You are being mis-led by the idea that they are trying to reconcile it.

They embrace it, it is the do as I say and not as I do mentality.  You are TOTALLY correct in saying why do we even talk to these creeps.

As difficult as it is to reconcile their blood thirstiness, what drives me crazy is the way that abhor domestic issues.

The same morons who would scream at the top of their lungs about some welfare mom ripping off the system(that is wrong) have not said word one about the looting of the treasury.  No bid contracts,cronyism and mismanagement

they loath domestic programs like welfare,social security and medicare not because of the cost but because they don't  get a cut.  They would gladly stop the bitching if they could privatize all of them for a third of the take in profits.

Your premise is false, therefore your conclusion is invalid. Cons do not make that claim. Liberals come in here and and rant about it. That makes us SICK TO OUR CORE.

No hypocrisy to resolve.  Liberals undermine our war efforts constantly.  They have been on the wrong side of every issue on the war.
