Like, you know how you can't drive people besides your siblings for the first 6 months of getting your license? well, how do the cops know they are your siblings? You're friend could say they don't have their license especially if they look like you.

  1. They'll ask for name, birth date and social security number.

  2. s***w your friends tell them to get there own ride wherever they need to go, if you start giving them rides when you get your license they will keep wanting rides and wasting your gas.

a little off topic but just throwing out some advice

  3. First, let's assume that your friends are all about your age.  What are the chances of the driver having 3-4 "siblings" that are about his age?

Once the officers are suspicious of the situation they will split you up and question you.  As another person said, they might ask questions like when is your brother's (or sister's) birthday?  Where do you live?  Where are you going?  How old are your brothers (or sisters)?

If you come up with wildly different answers (or improbable answers ... like having siblings less than 3 months apart in age) they might contact your parents.  Do you think that your parents will lie for you?  Do you think that they will remember how many children they have?

    You'd get busted.

  4. You could do that and possibly get away with it; if you don't you face obstruction of justice charges which is a high level misdemeanor in any state.

So, why not play by the rules and if you don't play by them, be honest and own up to it when caught, it goes a long way with officers, trust me!

  5. They might split you up and question you separately (When is your sibling's birthday??), then compare notes.  Get caught lying to a police officer as to your ID will get you into deeper trouble than driving friends around.  Trust me... cops will have had a lot more experience in such a stop than you will have had

  6. Cuz, they aren't idiots and chances are if you are speeding and get pulled over with someone else in the car, that is your same age, they aren't your sister or brother. Also, how often do you drive fast to show off to your sibling?

Think of it this way, Is it worth it to get pulled over and lose your license and have to pay a fine just to drive your friend around?

  7. We have MBC's (Moble Data Computers) and when we search a name or licenses number it comes up with tons of info on your record (if you were ever stopped and info added to your record etc.

But if I doubt that any officer would make an observation in thinking that so and so is so and so's brother or whatever. We see LOTS of people every day while were out and about.
