I know there's that "reply to" address. But does sending my inquiry to that craigslist generated email address also mean that craigslist will notify that seller that someone is interested or does my message just get automatically forwarded to their regular inbox? Or does the seller only see my message whenever he logs in to craigslist?

I found an electric keyboard that I wanted so I emailed the craigslist generated address. It hasnt been that long (2 days so far) but I'm really anxious to get it as soon as I can. I'm surprised that the seller hasn't emailed me back yet because I would think sellers are anxious to get the product off their hands. His post was actually over a month ago. So thats why I'm wondering if he has to sign in to craigslist to view messages or if he gets automatically notified.

  1. your message get automatically forwarded to the sellers email.

  2. You hit the "reply to" link and then you e-mail them about it. Then when they check their e-mail, they will see that you're interested.

  3. They get a Email. Then it's up to them to contact you. I would send another email to be sure. Many sellers on there have ads in the paper or other media.

  4. craigs list emails the seller adn let him know someone is interested. he may not be on his computer for a few days or he may not check email iike alot of us do.send him another message and see if he responce.

he may have a job where he can't get home or on his computer for days at a time. i had a job like that i was away for days at times before i can bet back on. glad i don't have that job anymore

    good luck
