How do dentists remove the back parts (anchors) of the braces?

im getting them off tomorrow (CHEERS IN BACKGROUND) lol and can anyone help me with this question. i live in australia too so it might me different.

this question is bothering me because my anchors are embedded in my gums so its more than nlikely gonna kill!! but i would like to know how they remove them :] thanks

  1. ZOMG, I AM GETTING MY BRACES OFF TOMORROW TOO!  Umm, over in america, they would use like a small pixel and just slowly slide the thing off and if you scream in pain, the dentish should give you some laughing gas.


  2. They take what kind of looks like pliers and gently wiggle until they pop off.  And you may think it will hurt like crazy cuz it sounds like it will.  But it's actually relieving once they get them off because the pressure on your gums is gone.

  3. no its not gonna hurt they will probably take it off from the side which is not stuck in your gums
