Well, your question is not very clear but I can give you a couple of examples.  The Japanese Beetles can do great damage to a soybean plant, but their inability to disperse well limits the damage to the soybean crop to the first 10 or so outside rows of the field.  Spraying these outer rows will control the Japanese Beetle.  Ease of distribution of other incests by better flight or being carried by wind deep into fields can do a lot more overall damage and be more expensive to control.
