Few year ago, someone we don't know had stolen my wife's identity. Somewhere somehow the perp who stole my wife's identity had found out that we have given birth to our first child. Now, we get a phone call from her lawyer saying that she is suing for stealing her daughter when obviously it's our daughter not hers. I know that DNA will give us a proof that our daughter belongs to my wife and I, but my question is, "How do doctor's find out that the daughter belongs to my wife?" Do they draw blood from my wife and daughter?" Please explain how this works.
Note: It's not surprising that this perp is telling everyone that our daughter is hers afterall she claimed that all the credit card accounts that my wife had the perp claimed that it was her credit card and that my wife was her perpetrator. ID thieves are total retards.
