Real BB/Pellet guns can fire 1200 FPS (feet per second) and uses lead pellets and can shoot your eye out. The electric ones fire less than 75 FPS and are plastic. For the money and most fun get an air powered rifle and not electric. The electric ones wear down after about 2 weeks of playing with them, depending on model of course. They do make a full size SAS fully auto air soft electric powered rifle that firs 800FPs but costs about $400.
