  1. Mostly in negative ways.  Unless they are exploited properly through regulated hunting or tourism of some kind endangered animals are a mostly a nuisance.  Many of them can wipe out a whole years crops in hours or kill people and can't even be openly killed for food.

  2. It affects the animals by food. Some people in Africa need animals becuase of their culture or religion. They also need them for help, like carrying sticks, or them. It may also affect the affect them buy clothes.

  3. In the case of lions ,the lions now hunt the people because the people have killed of the lions prey. And man retaliates by shooting the lions

As for the rest the people have less animals they can hunt so less food

    .

Ecologically speaking, animals removed from the eco system dramatically affect the eco system as a whole

,especially the flora,(check the first text on trees and wolves)

    http://byderule.multiply.com/journal/ite...

    quote(myself)

It has only recently become clear how the killing of wolves

leads to the diminishing of the forests . The wolves ,mountain lions coyotes etc.

keep the deer on the run ,

who will other wise browse any new growth coming up,

    we used to ask

How can we live side by side with dangerous animals ??

Because they will leave their alloted boundaries ,

and some will go for domestic animals , Removing the predator all together ,will eventually

lead to the death of the whole eco system.

Which in turn affects the people living there.

Now we ask can we live without them

    --------------------------------------...

However the necessity  of game parks creates different opportunities for income for the local people and so indirectly the concept of endangered species now helps the local people to survive by caring for the animals instead of hunting them

check about 7 articles down ---Is Eco-Tourism a good thing or bad thing?of the same page http://byderule.multiply.com/journal/ite...

    --------------------------------------...

    quote(my brother,who has several safari lodges )

it cost about R5 million (rands) to get the concession for Tinga (the game reserve) and that money went straight back to the National Parks Board. They then pay 10% of all profits to the National Parks Board. So it is a good income stream for them. On top of that they run training programs for locals in all sorts of things, including game rangering, tracking etc.

They are also very strict in environmental damage etc, No trees are allowed to be cut, not even dead wood removed for fires etc,no off road driving except for leopard or lion tracking, and then they have to repair any damage done So the whole concept is very environmentally friendly.

    --------------------------------------...

We are becoming more and more aware how interrelationships exist between animals ,Plants ,trees and ourselves.

we are all parts of the same eco systems bound together by our needs ,and affects.

So any specie that disappears somewhere along the line will affect us

although this may not become clear until well after ,when it is often  too late to do something about it.

    .

for example  the killing of animals which eat insects leads to plagues of these insects

the killing of snakes in Africa .led to plagues of Norwegian rats ,which undermined fields with thousands of tunnels ,and tractors got stuck having sunk into the land

they are now releasing mole snakes to combat this ,and the killing of serpents ,has become illegal

These same phenomena are  happening only in Not only in Africa but all over the planet..

Some people will argue that hunting replaces the absence of predators

but mostly the prime animals are shot with the result that we are instrumental in deteriorating the quality of the species that we hunt
