Question:

How do epileptics feel about the press using Barry George´s condition as a reason for his behaviour?

Watched the news yesterday night, and it looked like Barry George´s behaviour on the streets of Fulham was due to his 'epilepsy' and 'memory loss'. Where was the NHS when he needed it - and will epilepsy societies complain about the press, using the condition as a make do for readers of their papers who know nothing about it.

  1. Yes - me too, Mr. Bad Boy, but I suspect for different reasons altogether. Remember reams and reams of reports telling us how black (and mixed-race) alleged criminals became ´so´ on account of the ´mental conditions´ of their parents (especially fathers) who arrived in the UK from the West Indies in the fifties - that was before we were told the English social services didn´t know how to go about working with them, and so threw them all into care.

  2. I haven't heard anyone using epilepsy for his previous crimes?  Rape is not caused by epilepsy.

For a detailed look into Barry George's past crimes read this

And the British are happy he is freed?

    WHY???

  3. the police should apologise to Barry George for his unfair treatment

  4. Justice was finally done..The police should be ashamed at the way they moulded the case around him...No matter about the past history of this guy he did not deserve to convicted of such a serious crime on the basis of being in the wrong place at the right time.....It was a complete fit up....(In my view)...

  5. I've always found the George case to be the strangest of cases.
