How do evolve eevee on pokemon gold

i have a level 39 eevee and it didn't evolve yet

Flareon-Fire Stone

Vapareon-Water Stone

Jolteon-Thunder Stone

Umbreon-It has to be happy with you and LVL it up at night.

Espeon-It has to be happy with you and LVL it up during the day.

You have to get its happiness up, then when it is, level it up in the daytime if you want an Espeon or level it up in the night if you want Umbreon. Or you can use a fire, water or thunderstone.
