How do exterminators kill raccoons?

I know sometimes they "relocate" them in a place away from people, but I can't believe this happens all the time. Do they put them in a little gas chamber? Shoot them? My neighbors paid an exterminator to take a whole family of raccoons out of my back yard, including babies, and I want to know what happened to them.

I know with smaller animals such as squirrels / rats many use a water chamber...would guess that is what the government agencies would recommend for raccoons too. What happened to yours would need to be answered by the ones that took them away.

I have never heard of any sort of pest control company having access to some type of lethal injection.

The reputable companies use a injection kinda like the pound.
