In the 1970s, for example, one of the fads were pet rocks. So did that silly craze make our society's market more strict than vulnerable/guliable or what? Did it really have much of an impact as the fad-the disco? How did the disco influence our society today? I'm just saying it hard to tell if fads really mean anything for our future. What cultural impacts do they make, and does that affect our nation's political decisions? Just curious.
