  1. Some fish are livebearers, meaning that a female's eggs will be internally fertilized (boom chicka wa wa) and the female will give birth to live young.

Some fish are egg-layers, meaning the female will lay eggs first and the male will then fertilize them outside of her body. The eggs then hatch into fry (baby fish).

And chickens do have periods; they're called eggs! Now isn't that a little disgusting... but great with bacon! ;D (No offense to the vegetarians and vegans here. ;D)

Hope that answered your question =)

  2. For typical egg-laying fish, the females lay the eggs, then the males release the s***n into the water. For livebearers such as Guppies, Platies, Swordtails, etc., they have some sort of "s*x" but it's not as graphic or...noisy as humans.

Ask in the birds section about the chickens.

    E-mail me for any questions!

  3. Yes, what your friend told u is true! Well it is happened in a process called FERTILIZATION. The Female Swim's around in the Water and the Male Releases Sperm, and it finds the female, and she becomes pregnant! voila'!
