Make of the Phone- Panasonic.

What is wrong?- Button no. 2 has stopped working- sometimes works if you press real hard.

What have I done so far?- Opened the phone, removed the rubber pad and cleaned the contacts, and the circuit board with a soft cloth.

Did it work?- yes for a few min, then we are back to normal.

Can someone give me tips to get this number button working again with some simple trick? I don;t want to throw this phone out- everything else is fine.

  1. Well what I would do is get a new phone, but you don't want to do that so get a new rubber pad.

  2. First you need a gallon size zip-loc bag.  Put the phone in the bag and seal.  Next, place it behind the rear tire of your car.  Back the car up a few feet.  Now pull the car forward.  Back up again.  Pull forward.  Now go pick up the bag and empty the contents into a blender.  Add a cup of sugar and 2 cups of Diet Coke.  Turn blender on "whip".  While blender is running, drive to the store and buy another Panisonic phone (great phones-really!).  When you get home from the store, turn off blender and pour contents into your sinks garbage disposal.
