How do florist make trumpet vases arrangments so you can not see the stems? is it foam?

Do they use some kind of tray? how does it stay in there? do you see it. can I see some how to pics or something? any how to websites?

  1. In the clear trumpet vases we use a clear lomey tray that fits into the bell curve, in this, put the standard fresh floral foam blocks and make the arrangement from there.  You can lift out the lomey tray to transport.

    DO NOT put the foam directly into the trumpet vase, you will have a mess.

    Note:  Be sure  that you secure the foam into the tray with waterproof floral tape


  2. I wasn't able to find any "how to" instructions for you but I still wanted to answer your question. Yes, you can use foam! It actually looks like a 1/2 sphere that you can place in the top of the vase.  The flower stems are cut down to the appropriate length and stuck into the foam. It takes quite a few flowers in order to look lush so I would suggest making a trial arrangement so you know exactly how many flowers you will need for your wedding (you'll probably need more than you're thinking). If you use enough flowers and greenery you should not be able to see the foam, make sure you use enough supplies.  Good Luck!
